Shure Incorporated announced the appointment of Felipe Vargas as sales representative for its International Business Unit for the Americas. In his new role, Vargas will be responsible for sales in Central America and the Caribbean, with special emphasis on the commercial audio segment in Mexico. To ensure a close relationship with Shure's partner channels in the region, Vargas will operate out of Costa Rica.
As an expert for more than twelve years in professional audio, Vargas has extensive experience in commercial audio, with special emphasis on complex digital audio systems for large installations in all types of venues, from churches to concert halls, hotels and convention centers. Most recently, Vargas worked at D&M Professional.
Although our share of the Latin American market is very strong, there is still a lot of potential for growth, especially in commercial audio. "With his experience in professional audio sales in that market, we are confident that Felipe Vargas is the perfect candidate to help maximize our sales in the region," said Jane Wilke, general manager of Shure's International Business Unit for the Americas.
