Mexico. In 1988 the company Sistemas Digitales en Audio y Video began operations in Mexico, providing solutions according to the constant change in the Film, Radio and Television industry, delivering since then the recent advances in technology.
Enrique Gutiérrez, CEO of the Mexican company, told TVyVideo+Radio that "The years of pandemic were a very difficult challenge to solve, we worried first about maintaining the human resource that is the most important of the Company, 2022 allowed us to get back on track and we managed to have a very good closure with respect to previous years".
But this recovery has been affected by another problem. Failures in supply chains, the constant increase in the cost of raw materials, mainly metals and international armed conflicts affected the entire ecosystem. "This made delivery times ridiculously long affecting the entire industry. Currently and fortunately for us, there is a normalization process and a fast and normal response time. By 2023 we expect to maintain our growth rate and meet our expansion plans," he explained.
On NAB 2023, Enrique Gutiérrez indicated that he hopes that the capacity of people from Mexico will not be affected, because one of the lags of the pandemic has been the renewal of visas for the United States. In terms of technology, he expects to see continuity in progress and development, mainly solutions for IP, remote production, virtual graphics systems and augmented reality, and updating of production systems.
