Colombia. The audiovisual calls Abre Cámara 2022 of the Ministry of ICT opened their second stage with the participation of national and regional audiovisual production companies, ethnic communities, local operators and non-profit community operators that met the requirements of the first part.
"This year we received 391 requests for participation from the audiovisual sector and with it, we confirm the interest of the guild in the calls of the ICT Ministry, so from the national government we will continue to support, with incentives, this vote of confidence," said ICT Minister Carmen Ligia Valderrama Rojas.
Likewise, the official explained: "From those selected that went on to the second stage, the projects that will receive funding for all stages of production of the 6 calls and their respective categories will be chosen. We are excited to see production companies, audiovisual ethnic groups and non-profit operators demonstrating their talent once again."
The presentation of the creative proposal will be made through the platform provided for this purpose, from April 1, 2022 at 8:00 am as follows:
Call 1:
- Category 1.1 and 1.2 until April 5 at 5 pm
- Category 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7 until April 6 at 5 pm
Call 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6:
- Until April 7 at 5 pm
The creative proposals will be subjected to a verification process and subsequently, they will be sent (complying with the principle of anonymity) to the technical team for their respective evaluation and qualification, a process that will result in the winners that will be announced on May 20.
