Latin America. Inovonics continues to refine its NOVIA line of audio processors with the latest firmware version Rev. 1.0.0.6 for the NOVIA 272 FM stereo processor.
This firmware release resolves some issues with saving RDS settings and correct representation of RDS messages. All of these issues have been addressed and fixed with this release.
The NOVIA 272 is a compact DSP-based digital audio processor loaded with features such as Stereo-Gen, dynamic RDS encoder, along with streaming input and output. The 272 incorporates intuitive menu-based setup, 10 factory presets, as well as a dynamic browser/IP interface compatible with any desktop or mobile device.
Going back to Inovonics' roots in the recording industry, the NOVIA digital processor incorporates 3 compression bands with parametric equalizer, exclusive to the broadcasting industry. The parametric equalizer is a mainstay of recording and live sound that provides continuous control over each parameter.
Inovonics recommends that users update their firmware if they are not running Rev. 1.0.0.6. The firmware file can be downloaded from the Inovonics website. The company recommends reviewing the update procedures in the firmware notes and the NOVIA 272 user manual, both accessible on the NOVIA 272 product page.
