Chile. Almost a year after its launch, the signal created to broadcast educational content and teleclasses, in support of the millions of schoolchildren who had to leave the classrooms as a result of the health emergency, is now transformed into a cultural channel in charge of Televisión Nacional de Chile, TVN.
"The experience of TV Educa last year and of which the National Television Council was a part, was very successful and very well valued by the audience. 86% of those who had watched this channel expected it to continue over time, according to our surveys," said Carolina Cuevas, CNTV president.
He clarified that "This is very good news, there was an audience that was underserved: the children on our television. As the National Television Council we will continue to collaborate for the development of this new cultural channel, particularly with the production of CNTV Infantil".
The CNTV has contributed with more than 300 educational children's programs to the programmatic grid of TV Educa Chile.
