Argentina. Between March 15 and 19, the National Communications Agency, Enacom, brings together at its headquarters, for the first time and in the same event, Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia, the largest global network infrastructure companies in order to carry out demonstrations oriented to fifth-generation (5G) technology for mobile broadband connections.
In the facilities of the Entity, 5G tests and trials are carried out in the country by the main companies in the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) sector.
Such systems will enable higher transfer speeds, ultra-dense simultaneous connections, and millisecond-order latencies, which, taken together, will offer unprecedented advantages in industry, education, entertainment, and more. The incorporation of this technology presents a great opportunity for the expansion of these networks to promote the digital transformation of the country, with a focus on the productive sector, education and the reduction of the digital divide. With this event, the national government begins to take the first steps in the implementation of revolutionary technical advances, and thus reinforces its commitment to the economic and social development of the country.
Prior to the start of the demonstrations, the companies summoned detailed the impressions, expectations and objectives of each one regarding the event.
