Latin America. GatesAir continues to expand its global footprint with strategic growth in each region. The company announced three key sales team appointments in the CALA (Caribbean and Latin America), EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions, reinforcing its commitment to customer privacy worldwide.

Antonio Satta joins GatesAir's CALA team as Sales Director, Brazil. Reporting to Felipe Luna, Managing Director of GatesAir, CALA region, Satta brings nearly 15 years of transmission and telecommunications experience to his new role. He has been with Screen Service Broadcasting Technologies for the past 11 years, most of which were spent in Brazil as Managing Director. His experience in navigating the complex Brazilian market, long-term business relationships in the country and knowledge of the position of the Satta international transmission market for success in growing GatesAir's market share.
In addition to direct relationships with the end customer, Satta will work closely with Foccus Digital, GatesAir's long-time Brazilian partner. It anticipates "two key growth pathways" for GatesAir, including the opportunity for ISDB-Tb digital TV conversions in more than 4,000 cities through 2023; and refreshing TV and FM radio infrastructure with high-efficiency GatesAir transmitters. Satta adds that GatesAir's nearly 100-year history, broad product portfolio and established reputation for reliability, along with continued investment in regional resources, will contribute to its success at GatesAir.
Other appointments
Matt Smith joins GatesAir's EMEA team as Regional Sales Director, covering a diverse geography in Western Europe, the Nordics and Southern Africa.
Oscar Hu joins GatesAir's APAC team as Regional Sales Manager, Southeast Asia, reporting to Jacky Yee, GatesAir's Head of Sales, APAC.
"The collective industry experience of nearly 50 years between the three appointments will only increase GatesAir's global business momentum and long-term success. We welcome Antonio, Matt and Oscar to the GatesAir team, effective immediately," said Redmond.
