Mexico. Qligent is increasing its visibility in Latin America with its first independent regional exhibition at the TecnoTelevisión Mexico 2019 Conference.
Qligent, the first vendor in the industry to offer a truly cloud-based monitoring and analytics platform and service for cross-platform TV, will demonstrate its flagship Vision Compliance/QoS/QoE media quality compliance platform alongside its innovative Vision Analytics solution.
While this occasion marks the first year of this conference in Mexico City, the event is expected to attract a wide range of media creation and delivery professionals from the broadcast, cable television, digital post-production and new media markets.
Qligent will share its booth with GAD Electronics of Argentina, its manufacturer's representative and regional partner serving the Central and South American markets. The two companies will remain tightly integrated across all sales and marketing in Latin America and South America as they work to bring Qligent's message and value proposition to customers across the region.
Qligent CTO Ted Korte and GAD Electronics Executive Director Alejandro Pasika will be among the 10 featured speakers at the Conference, giving back-to-back presentations on August 15 at Booth 819:
Korte will address How to Use Big Data and AI to Prevent Abandonment, a topic that is especially pertinent for Latin America's online video, cable TV, and OTT service providers. Immediately following Korte's presentation, Pasika sheds light on monitoring and measuring multiple 4K and IP instrument displays.
Monitoring and analysis innovations
Qligent's Vision platform solves the problem of monitoring today's complex and rapidly evolving media distribution landscape and the sheer volume of premium content offered by media companies. Vision provides broadcasters, MVPDs and OTT service providers with a centralized platform to review, verify and ensure high quality of service (QoS) and regulatory compliance.
Leveraging a global and widely dispersed network of virtual and/or IoT probes, Vision provides comprehensive, holistic monitoring and analysis of four quality management pillars: compliance errors, objective errors (QoS), subjective quality of experience (QoE) errors, and programmatic errors—from source installation to the last mile.
"The value proposition for MVPS and other multimedia entertainment professionals is that our solution can identify and even predict technical issues, in an automated manner, before they affect the end-user experience," Korte added.
Qligent exhibits at Booth 816 August 14-16 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City, Mexico.
