Samsung launched its QLED TV 8K and 4K in Latam

Latin America. In the framework of the "Technical Summit" that Samsung carries out every year, the company presented for Latin America the QLED TV 2019 line. At the event, attendees had the opportunity to witness the latest technological innovations of Samsung screens.

The QLED 8K TVs, winners of the "Innovation Award" during CES 2019, are equipped with Samsung's Quantum processor, which integrates semiconductor technology with image processing powered by Artificial Intelligence.

For the first time in the industry, Samsung's Quantum processor is based on AI technology that enables machine learning to analyze millions of images that are calibrated from low-resolution sources and optimize them to 8K quality, regardless of the original format. 8K image conversion via AI offers accuracy and efficiency, and establishes an autonomous method. These advances in image quality are evident in large format TVs, where the highest resolution and sharpness can be properly displayed.

Samsung's Quantum processor automatically enhances lower-resolution content from any source and optimizes it to 8K quality video. Samsung's processor will also be available in the company's QLED 4K models, allowing the full lineup to deliver great picture quality and enhanced sound, thanks to AI integration.

Some of the new smart features that will be reflected in the QLED 2019 display lineup include the Apple TV and Apple AirPlay 2 apps. Thanks to its seamless integration with Samsung's Smart TV platform, users simply select the Apple TV icon to access iTunes movies and/or make TV show purchases.

Samsung Smart TVs offer AirPlay2 support so customers can easily play videos and content from their iPhone, iPad or Mac, to the screen.

In addition to the resources of Smart TV, the QLED 2019 line has the Ambient Mode function, so that the screen becomes part of the home decoration thanks to its fine design. The equipment will look like a beautiful glass frame integrated into the wall, or it can even reproduce images of its own. Also, with the feature of One Invisible, all the cables of the equipment are gathered to have a room with a totally clean view and design.

The screens come with a single remote control, so it is not necessary to use different to manipulate other equipment such as the set-top box, the Blu-ray, or a game console.
