Colombia. The Ministries of ICT and Culture opened the call for the Crea Digital program, in order to finance digital content projects with commercial potential and cultural and / or educational emphasis, with a narrative aimed at entertainment, in its eighth version.
Crea Digital 2019 looks for projects with complete formulation for the development of a content, in a document that supports their viability, according to the requirements of the category in which they are presented.
In addition to tending to sensitize the industry in the need to make inclusive content, accessible to the population with disabilities, cultural, educational and quality, as has traditionally been done in this call, this year Crea Digital seeks winning projects with high potential to be marketed and monetized in international markets that increasingly demand innovative content that reflects the great cultural and educational diversity of Colombia.
The call seeks digital content with cultural, educational and commercial emphasis in the following lines:
- Co-production for the development of video games
- Co-production for the development of transmedia content
- Co-production for the development of digital animated series
The call is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized Colombian enterprises formally constituted with legal personality, institutions and non-profit organizations and universities and institutions of higher education, public or private, recognized by the Ministry of National Education.
Interested entities and companies must have the design and complete formulation for the production of a Pilot or Prototype in Digital Beta Version as well as a document that supports its viability, its technical quality and its cultural, educational and commercial character according to the category in which they are presented.
