NAB. Under the slogan Every Story Begins Here, the 2019 version of the NAB Show will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on April 6-11. The annual appointment of the broadcast industry this year will allow to define pending aspects of IP workflows. There are several novelties that the fair brings.
Streaming Summit
NAB Show, in partnership with Streaming Summit, will again produce the two-day event with a focus on the OTT video industry. The Streaming Summit will be held April 8-9 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. A new dedicated website has been launched in nabstreamingsummit.com
The event will feature nearly 100 speakers. Technical topics to be addressed include transcoding, packaging, monetizing, and playing live and on-demand videos, including how to deliver the best viewing experience. Attendees will also learn how to capitalize on direct-to-consumer offerings and how some of the world's largest companies are monetizing their video libraries through advertising, subscription, and other monetization strategies.
Small and Medium Market Radio Forum
One of the novelties of NAB Show 2019 is the Small and Medium Market Radio Forum, which will be held on Sunday, April 7 (2:00 to 5:00 p.m.) at the Westgate Hotel. The forum, which is exclusive to NAB members, will offer high-level policy and technology briefings, an in-depth discussion focused on the future of small and medium-market radio, and solution-oriented roundtable discussions.
Representatives from NAB's government, legal and technology relations departments will provide high-level information and updates on their respective initiatives. Highlights of the roundtable session include non-traditional revenue strategies, talent recruitment, and off-the-air software solutions.
TVyVideo+Radio will be present at NAB Show to present the most important novelties of the fair.
