Latin America. Following the very encouraging response, popularity and sales of the 4-channel "Rugged" power station models, Blueshape has developed smaller variants of these power stations whereby the units run on 2 V-lock or 3-Stud batteries instead of 4 units.
The Blueshape power plant concept is an intelligent system for integrating power from multiple V-lock or 3-Stud batteries into a single source that can be connected anywhere, at any time as a simultaneous dual voltage output. The batteries are hot-swappable and can be replaced one by one without affecting the output.
These new PWS Rugged Minis as they are called, are housed in a smaller waterproof case than their larger siblings, but still retain all the "sturdy" features. They are capable of providing uninterrupted power at 3 separate voltages to XLR female connectors located on the outer side of the box, allowing the units to operate in power station mode with the box closed.
PWS-Rugged Mini includes 2 independent 65W chargers. Each time the AC is connected, the installed batteries are charged accordingly, and the system continues to release DC power as requested. In this way, it can also act as a powerful UPS system, since a sudden cut of the AC input will not affect the DC output that remains supported by the installed batteries.
It uses a series of LEDs to indicate the level of current that is delivered instantly with each battery, providing the user with an indication of the charge each battery is supplying.
