Colombia. In the House of Culture of Montenegro, the audiovisual transmedia television workshop was held, in charge of Gabriel Levy, Content Coordinator of the ANTV and Sergio Andrés Urquijo, advisor of the entity.
During the meeting, attendees had the opportunity to contextualize themselves on topics such as 'the general panorama of transmedia, conceptualization and main references in the world' and 'formulation of an idea of transmedia audiovisual project, to disseminate a message or story on multiple platforms'.
Levy explained to the attendees that the transmedia strategy has four important steps, the franchise, the history, the stories and the fandom, while Urquijo, carried out a group activity to understand the multiscreen and transmedia expansion, and how the way of telling stories has changed.
"Digital media have allowed us both in production and in realization, not only to reduce economic resources but to plan realities (...) the primary transmedia condition is the construction of a world that supports diverse stories within," Urquijo said in his presentation.
This seminar is part of the strategy managed by the ANTV, called the 'The Tv that we are', which seeks to train audiovisual filmmakers, teachers and students, about content, new narratives and projects that can cross the multiple platforms and stories.
