Brazil. For the company Pinnacle Broadcast, the Brazilian market has been improving little by little, without becoming optimal. This is thanks to the fact that broadcast technology is taking a path of low prices and that helps a lot to a market that was resistant to purchases.
Ricardo López, CEO of Pinnacle Broadcast, assured TVyVideo+Radio that "With new products of high quality and at low cost, it was possible to sell a high percentage again. Blackmagic competes arm-in-arm with any 4K camera but at a cost between 30% and 40% lower than another brand. This is what has helped the market, which needed to be updated."
The company, which today has Blackmagic Design among its portfolio, is studying the possibility of reopening its office in Mexico taking advantage of the market opportunities offered by the Australian manufacturer and that both broadcast and pro AV are trying to grow the market.
Ricardo López added that among the company's portfolio is also Marshall, with PTC microcameras, camera controls and monitors, a brand that is in the same line of low prices as Blackmagic. E-Image is a brand of tripods that Pinnacle has represented for Latam for 7 years, as well as Telikou's intercom solutions.
