Ross Video's new Ultrix-FR5 is a new 5 RU version of Ultrix's innovative AV routing and processing platform, with the ability to replace up to five full racks of traditional infrastructure equipment.
This equipment is highly versatile and can simplify a rack room, OB trucks or flypacks and offers savings in time, money and labor.
Ultrix is a 12G 144 x 144 router, but the standard feature set also offers clean and quiet switching at every output, embedded and unpacked audio, plus discrete audio via MADI inputs/outputs.
In addition, optional features include input box synchronizers, UHD gearboxes, and up to 24 independent MultiViewers, each capable of supporting up to 100 unique PIPs per head, all unified into a single chassis.
The product is software upgrade-enabled, so users will only need to purchase the hardware and can then add additional features as required by software licenses.
