Mexico. Despite market and currency variations, 2018 has been a great year for Bridge Technologies in the Latin American region, both in South and Central America, said Emerson Pérez, regional manager for Latin America of the company.
"In Brazil, Argentina and Chile we are working and we have had a good response. In Central American countries such as Panama and Costa Rica we are also working. This has been a very good year for us in Latin America. It is probably, of the four years that we have been working in Latin America directly, the best year. Even though we've only been half a year, I think it's been one of our best years. We have sown for two or three years and at the moment we are starting to harvest," he said in Mexico City.
On the company's offer, Pérez described: "We are offering all our digital signal monitoring equipment, for IP signals, OTT, air signals such as satellite, RF, QAM, etc. Basically a range of products that allow you to monitor not only the RF but also the video and audio within those transport streams or those signals, in order to make not only quality of service, but also quality of experience. Apart from this we have an administrator that allows us to collect information from all the tips that may be in different cities or in different places and to be able to generate both reports based on those alarms, and send these reports and alarms via mail to the different departments that need them. "
On the presence of the company in the country, he said: "In Mexico we have been working for a long time with Excellence in Communications and Technology; we have different orientations to the broadcaster -at the level of monitoring of transmitters-, satellite, OTT. Now we are also entering with tips that allow monitoring SDI over IP signals. At the cable level, we can also present these same solutions to give a joint monitoring and be able to be proactive in monitoring the signals. On satellite, just being able to monitor videos without having to use set-top-box to convert the signal is a huge advantage."
