Mexico. Providing antennas to the new regional TV channels is a priority for Dielectric, and they have had a clear success, said Federico d'Avis, the company's International Sales Manager.
"The market in Mexico is growing, we are working with one of the new TV competitors that have just won the license in the country. In Mexico we have a lot of success, first with TV Azteca, who made the digital change, so they required new antennas; also with Grupo Imagen —for their Channel 3— and we have had a lot of success with them. And now we are working with the new broadcasters who won the new frequencies," he said during NAB Show 2018.
He added: "With Grupo Imagen (Mexico) we will continue working soon; we have already supplied around 45 sites of their transmission, which are of lower power, and we look forward to moving forward with them."
On the company's growing market in Latin America, d'Avis said: "In Peru we have just won a project with an FM broadcaster and we are supplying them with antennas and filters, for eight radio stations. It is a very large system that we supply for CRP. In Chile we are working with Megavision. In Brazil with EPTV we sold antennas and they are very happy with the results."
