Latin America. Positioning itself as one of the leading providers of transmission technologies, GatesAir provides streaming solutions to major broadcasters in Latin America, said Alberto Salazar, the company's director of sales for Latin america and Central America.
"At NAB Show 2018 we presented the latest in TV and FM radio broadcasting; we also have solutions for the transport of IP signals, for example from a studio to a transmission tower. We have been successfully selling these products for the last three or four years throughout Latin America: we have closed projects in Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, among others."
Salazar assured that a great success of the company is based on the market specification of its solutions: "Our products are clearly transmitters. We do not manufacture any other product other than transmitters, we are the leading manufacturer worldwide" The project with Grupo Imagen must continue to grow, the second phase is already underway, since the project includes installing more transmitters and we are working very hand in hand with them.
Diego Giles, Sales Manager for Latin America at GatesAir, said: "We have a lot of competition, which is good for the end user. We felt very safe in the company. There are several categories in the industry and we are at the top of the technology range; what we offer users is that we will accompany them with their transmission processes and throughout the useful life of their equipment. We have customers with 30 years of use and we help them with spare parts and with technical equipment to support them, in the transmission that is very important".
And he highlighted his main clients in the Latin American region: "We are very close to important clients such as Televisa, TV Azteca, CCNP Colombia and Caracol Radio; Telecom Argentina; with Megavisión in Chile; with RedUNO and ATV in Bolivia; and in all countries we are working hard."
