Latin America. Optimizing the performance of radio stations, Burk Technology offers a new offering: comprehensively control the workflow and all devices of a radio station remotely, efficiently and automatically, said Miguel Pérez, manager for Latin America at Burk.
"We introduced our main product, the ARCPlus Touch, and we also have the ARC Solo, which is for smaller stations. The ARCPlus Touch allows you to control entire radio stations, such as a remote control that allows you to control analog and digital information. It has the facility to connect to various equipment with 256 available channels that the user can adapt them according to their needs," he mentioned during NAB Show 2018.
He added: "We have the AutoPilot program, which allows us to connect several points to do controlled monitoring from the central point, either from a studio or the office of the owner of the company. Our team sends alerts via SMS, email or phone to warn you of problems. It also does automatic functions in case the station falls, for example the transmitter and can do functions to restart the transmitter and if it does not work you can use the emergency transmitter automatically. We can control all the processes of a radio station."
Pérez highlighted the company's growth in Latin American markets. "In Latin America we are working to expand. A couple of years ago we started with the penetration process and our goal is to reach more customers in Latin America. We already have some customers who use our solutions but we want to reach more markets, such as Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic," he said.
