NAB. As part of the NAB Show 2018, Panasonic is celebrating 100 years of the company. To this end, it has prepared a wide range of new products, technologies and solutions for professionals in the production and transmission of television, video and digital cinema.
Among them are their new IP line under NDI. The NDIWorld environment ranges from graphics to streaming to screenshot and recording.
Under the slogan "Welcome to our next 100 years of Innovation", Panasonic debuts with five important announcements:
• AK-UC4000 4K/HDR/high-speed studio camera with native 4.4K resolution and 240fps high-speed capability
• Free EVA 2.0 firmware update for the AU-EVA1 5.7K cinema camera that greatly improves its recording capabilities with ALL-Intra frame formats and RAW data output. Panasonic also announced that EVA1 and VariCam LT will take full advantage of the new ProRes RAW software for a faster and more efficient RAW workflow.
• AV-HLC100 Live Production Center with Network Device Interface (NDI) combining a 1 ME selector, remote camera controller, graphic overlays, streaming/recording and audio mixer functions to enable easy live streaming with one person operation
• VariCam LT V. 6.0 The CineLive firmware that configures the cinema camera for direct and almost live use of multiple cameras for events, concerts, TV shows and corporate productions
• A new line of PTZ cameras with Network Device Interface Support (NDI | HX) integrated: AW-HN38, AW-HN40, AW-UN70 and AW-HN130
