Argentina. The President of the National Communications Agency (Enacom), Miguel De Godoy, participated in the 20th Plenary Assembly of the Latin American Forum of Telecommunications Regulatory Entities, Regulatel, which was held in Mexico City.
This year the focus of the Work of the Forum was focused on Connectivity, so better experiences were shared and possible alternatives were discussed to increase it in future years, promoting in this sense a "Declaration of Connectivity".
In this regard, De Godoy said that "in Argentina we seek to generate equitable access to telecommunications services; promoting the development of the various regions; stimulating competitiveness, trade, investment and the integration of the productive apparatus into the national and world market". Finally, the president of Enacom remarked that "it is essential to continue working and cooperating with the international community, because only in this way will we live in a world where we are all connected and no one is left out of technological progress and, without a doubt, we are moving in the right direction."
The Regulatel Assembly is the annual meeting in which the work of the year that ends is reviewed and approved, as well as the Report of the outgoing Presidency, and the working guidelines for the Presidency of the following year are discussed and approved.
