EDIUS 9, is a non-linear editing software, which now allows a full HDR workflow, improvements for higher performance and is available for purchase, without subscription. The latest version of EDIUS from Grass Valley, recognized as a reliable and powerful editing solution.
EDIUS version 9 supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) very easy to use, including import, editing and exporting, like no other editing solution on the market. In addition to the typical established Logs, EDIUS 9 is fully compatible with the Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) included in several recently introduced Sony and Panasonic cameras. With HLG, the image will look great on any standard display and look even better on an HDR monitor. EDIUS 9 is capable of detecting the engraved color space and automatically applies the correct settings for a native edition.
EDIUS 9 supports a wide range of HDR (PG and HLG) sources, including professional cameras, drones, action cameras and smartphones, converts from SDR and Log to HDR and allows you to mix SDR and HDR on the same timeline. Compatible I/O cards and monitors allow for a real HDR preview. HDR projects can be exported for playback (such as H.264, 10-bit, 4:2:2) on HDR TVs and YouTube.
EDIUS 9 supports a wide range of color spaces, including BT.2020 and BT.2100. And it now natively supports Canon C200 Cinema Raw Light and 10-bit DNG Cinema.
