Argentina. Grass Valley will showcase its wide range of live production solutions for broadcast professionals at Caper 2017, which will take place october 25-27 at the Costa Salguero Center in Buenos Aires.
"Live production is one of the most demanding broadcast applications, but also one of the most exciting, with steady growth and performance opportunities, as today's viewers seek to be informed and entertained while events happen in real time," said Nahuel Villegas, Vice President, Grass Valley CALA.
For this edition of Caper, Grass Valley will have its own stand (#D30), because according to Villegas "we are working on many complex integration projects for live content production and we agreed together to do something that could show a more interesting corporate presence with respect to the capacity and flexibility of workflows that we can put together". Some of the products that are an important part of these workflows and that will be presented at the exhibition are:
LDX 86 WorldCam: The LDX 86 WorldCam offers traditional HD/3G acquisition, as well as the ability to upgrade directly to LDX 4K UHD, 3X HD or 6X HD/3X 3G functionality for 1 day, 7 days or perpetually via GV eLicense. It also offers an expanded color gamut and the option to upgrade to 15 high dynamic range (HDR) F-stops in one-speed operations.
Focus Series: The Focus Series cameras feature three Xensium-FT CMOS image sensors with global shutter, ideal for small live studio and field applications, including regional broadcast stations, SNG trucks, small OB trucks, university sports productions, shows and houses of worship.
K2 Summit: K2 Summit media servers fuse software technology with traditional hardware for purpose-built devices that provide 24/7/365 file-based infrastructure and high-performance file operations running simultaneously.
GV Korona K-Frame: Combining maximum mid-range switcher performance with proven workflows and simplified control of complex productions, GV Korona K-Frame S-series systems are offered in three system packages, with 1, 2 or 3 M/Es.
GV Karrera with K-Frame: As a software-based platform, Karrera with K-Frame is a new modular approach for production switchers that offers more creativity to create engaging and captivating content, with multi-format support, including 1080p and 4K.
K2 Dyno: The K2 Dyno replay system features a highly intuitive touchscreen interface, a rotary button, and grass Valley's T-bar, and relies on the K2 media server infrastructure for further integration of content and metadata.
