Raúl Hun, Sales Director for Latin America at Comrex, told TVyVideo+Radio that the main advantage of this system is that it now has two microphone inputs, which facilitates the transmission of events, such as sports events, because it is no longer necessary to use a console.
Another new product is Opal, a system that through a link and an internet connection allows you to connect people to the studio with high quality audio. The system generates a link that is sent to the interviewee and with just one click is already online with the station.
It allows connection from computers or mobile devices thanks to the fact that it uses a codec that is already in the browser. In addition, two calls can be made at once and in an upcoming software update, it will allow you to make a conference between three people.
On the Latin market for Comrex, Raúl Hun said that although it has been a little slow due to the political situation, for the company it has been fine, with a stable level of sales and they have just closed a purchase of eight units for the same station in Brazil.
