Brazil. NDI 3, the evolution of Newtek's IP protocol, was presented in Brazil, following the line of IP-based working groups, all under the premise that it is a topic that every day becomes a reality and a necessity for the market.
Filippo Ferlini, Sales Director for Latin America at Newtek, told TVyVideo+Radio that they are talking to all customers about the advantages and possible resources of working with IP.
He stressed that in Brazil they are very open to technology and willing to implement new systems, to which is added the extensive knowledge and management of technology that makes it superior to other countries in the region.
"The very existence of the SET demonstrates a particularly important engineering culture. That is why Brazil is an important market for Newtek and its promotion of the IP protocol, the NDI. Although Brazil faces a difficult period, it remains an important market for Newtek. " he said.
During SET Expo 2017, they presented Newtek's latest production system, the TC1, based on IP NDI, with 16 inputs. They also showed their NDI-based PTZ cameras, which, through a single cable have power, send the signal and allow the camera to be controlled.
In addition, they presented the integration with other manufacturers, with which they are working together with the IP NDI protocol, such as Virzrt, Snews, Panasonic, among others.
