Latin America. SKB, a manufacturer of solid boxes for transportation of audio and video equipment and with a global trajectory of 40 years in the industry, already focuses its efforts on the Latin American market, said Fernando Martínez, sales director for Latin America of the company.
"SKB is developing in the Latin American market; we have been positioning ourselves in the region for about four years and now Rick Fernández and I are dedicated to the area, traveling to various countries doing co-branding with Blackmagic Design, working with government, military, industrial and commercial entities. What we want is for the company's products to be recognized as the number one boxes for audio and video technologies," he said.
Martínez said that one of its main differentials of its offer, in addition to the quality of the products, is the price: "Our products are less expensive, but with equal or better quality than that of our competitors. We want all our boxes to be located throughout the Latin American region. For the new Mexican television stations, we adapt to budgets and needs; we are always aware of making a special box - if we do not already have it - for any camera or technological development. We have a goal of having 100 measures of cases, compared to the other competitors, who have 45 or 50 models of boxes."
He affirmed that their outlook in the region is promising, and they plan to increase their presence in the main Latin American markets. "We are growing aggressively globally. In Latin America we are painting a positive year, it is a matter of being present and it is what we do today," he said.
