Colombia. With a firm intention to promote the development of the audiovisual industry and meet the objectives of the Fund for the Development of Television and Content (FONTV), the National Television Board decided to allocate economic resources to regional channels with the aim of financing 24 special projects worth more than $ 10,000 million.
"For the Entity it is very satisfactory to announce that these economic resources will be allocated to continue enlarging the contents of public television. Our goal is to provide the tools so that they can make a real television with high content. We want to encourage creative and production processes so that viewers are the real beneficiaries," said the director of the National Television Authority, Ángela María Mora Soto.
This investment will be reflected in a total of 288 chapters classified in the categories of plot fiction, educational content designed and produced under the edutainment model, and transmission of events or sports competitions of regional impact.
Previously, the Entity held several meetings with managers and people in charge of the realization and production of content from all regional channels, through 'La Tele de Todos', a project of the National Television Authority to public TV, with the aim of achieving a plural, inclusive and participatory participation.
