Latin America. For the first time, AudioVideo BrandBuilder Corp., participated in the Cine Gear Expo that took place on June 2 and 3, 2017 at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, California. Cine Gear Expo is an annual event aimed at professionals in cinematography, film productions and, more recently, digital content.
They were from AVBB Tommy Goodson - President of AVBB, and Christian Young - Director of Marketing of AVBB. Two representatives of the manufacturer accompanied AVBB at the stand: Mitsuhiro Uchida - WOWOW Sales Engineer, and Thom Belford - President of Osee Americas.
"We decided to participate in this event in order to promote two key products that we represent in the Americas: the LUT box and WOWOW's award-winning WonderLook Pro Color Management software. And we are very happy to have made this decision. This event attracts the best of the best in cinematography and we realised a great reception for those two products," commented Tommy Goodson.
The IS-miniX is a digital color adjustment device that enables on-screen camera preview and monitor calibration for professional film productions. For this event, AVBB also showcased the IS-miniX 4K rack that leverages the power of four individual LUT boxes to control four 3G-SDI signals, ideal for 4K material.
To maximize the features of the IS-miniX, WonderLook Pro Color Management software was also on display. Frame capture, ancillary data, as well as chroma-keying and logo/text overlay were some of the most recent features added to the latest version of the WonderLook Pro.
"I am very happy that AVBB participated in this event. The IS-miniX rack and mainly, the WonderLook Pro software received great acceptance at this show. Previous users of the IS-mini LUT box and IS-manager software, predecessor of WonderLook Pro, expressed interest in the new products and confirmed their superiority over similar products," mitsuhiro Uchida said. We expect healthy demand for the IS-miniX and WonderLook Pro in the near term."
Another brand that was exhibited at the Cine Gear Expo was the British company Phabrix and its test and measurement instruments, the SxTAG and SxE portable units and the Qx rasterizer model for 4K and IP signals.
Osee Americas showcased several of its popular and recent professional monitors, in sizes of 17", 25" and 55".
