VideoSwitch
VideoSwitch presents its new Digital Arrays (models MXD084-MXD164) for ASI SDI-SD/HD/3G signals, which are specially designed to perform in the routing of digital signals, complying with the requirements of the SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 259M-C standards.
Each matrix has 8 or 16 inputs and 4 duplicate outputs. All inputs have automatic equalization, which allows to compensate for the losses caused by the passage of high data rate signal through coaxile cables, being able to compensate up to 400 meters of Belden 1694A type cable.
The cabinet has a self-contained switching source, and it can be mounted on a rack unit (1UR). The keyboard is light and ergonomic for a quick reading of the current switching status, and convenient operation. It can be integrated or it can be external, for remote operation.
The states of the switches are automatically saved against power outages, so that they can be recovered at the time of restoring said supply.
Optionally, the array can be controlled via RS232 (DB9) or RS485 by software, to be able to perform programmed switches.
