Jordi Utiel, president and CEO of VSN, and creator of the platform, told TVyVideo+Radio that this is a commercial website in which producers who have content that is already amortized, that is, old archived productions that have already been marketed, today have the possibility of selling them again in a simple way.
"It is a professional portal where producers upload the contents in high resolution, if it is a series or novel they can upload all the chapters, trailers, subtitle files. We are giving them a MAM in the cloud, supported by Microsoft's Azure system. The only cost is a subscription and Mediabak makes it easy to sell."
Buyers register and the platform is responsible for certifying that they are who they say they are, until they check their data they are not allowed to buy. The producer is the one who sets the prices, is responsible for the copyright and must ensure that he is up to date on the subject.
"Behind everything is vsn technology, MAM, encryption, and even a change of format to that required by the client. In the future, we want to have a community of professionals who do subtitles and dubbing, putting all the necessary tools so that that content that is archived can be monetized again, "said Jordi Utiel.
