Brazil. At SET EXPO 2016, Pebble Beach Systems will be presenting its Marina automation solution and will demonstrate Lighthouse for the first time in Brazil, at booth 84 of its distributor Videodata.
Visitors will be able to see a demonstration of the robust Marina automation system, a powerful centralized ingestion, content management and multichannel automation solution for systems ranging from a single channel to hundreds.
Designed to cope with today's complex and variable workflows, it allows you to combine simple 'pass-through' channels and complex 'labor intensive' channels in a single system. Marina's distributed architecture allows broadcasters to use resources across multiple servers, and choose the best underlying technology for their specific needs.
Previously showcased at the NAB Show in Las Vegas last April, Lighthouse expands Marina's functionality for business users, operators and engineers, both inside and outside the transmission facility. Lighthouse offers tools for control, monitoring, media management and system configuration through a series of widgets in configurable web-based dashboards.
Modern broadcast workflows require agile and responsive interaction methods at any time of the day or night. Lighthouse extends staff reach with standard browser interfaces, so status and corrective actions are just a few seconds away, even outside the control room.
"We are thrilled to be working with our distributor Videodata to present Lighthouse and Marina at SET EXPO 2016. Their experience and know-how have already proven to be extremely valuable and I am confident that we can expect significant growth in the region," explains Paulo Andrés Martínez-Cleves, Vice President of Sales for Latin America at Pebble Beach Systems.
