Argentina. For some years, Caper has been working to generate links with associations and peer chambers in Latin America with the aim of contributing to the growth of the Industry and disseminating its event, Caper Show, which this year will celebrate its twenty-fifth annual edition in october in the City of Buenos Aires.
The General Manager of the Chamber, Lic. María del Pilar Orge Sánchez, commented that: "Caper values the exchange with other entities in Latin America and the world. This year, we will sign a cooperation agreement with the Sociedade Brasileira de Engenharia de Televisão, within the framework of its SET 2016 exhibition, which will allow us to have a presence through a stand and a Round Table, in which we will provide the Brazilian public with an overview of the industry in our country, with topics such as analog blackout, maintenance of existing TDA stations and expansion plans, and Federal Fiber Optic Network."
Representing Caper will travel to SET Eng. Ricardo Solari -President of the Board of Directors-, Mrs. Pilar Orge Sánchez -General Manager- and Eng. María Eugenia Muscio -Technical Advisor-. Also attending SET, the students of the Professional School of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts Eliseo Subiela, who were winners of the short film contest that was held within the framework of Caper 2015 and whose prize, on the part of the Chamber, was to send them to visit this professional exhibition.
"For our institution it is extremely important to promote the knowledge and use of professional equipment in the students who will be the future professionals of the Industry". With this criterion, for more than four years Caper has organized the Audiovisual Dogma Contest within the framework of Caper Show, with the collaboration of CAPPA (Chamber of Audiovisual SMEs Producers), the ADF (Authors of Cinematographic Photography) and the Audiovisual District of the City of Buenos Aires.
