DvEO's Gearbox ISDB-Tb 8 Tuners/IP 32ch simultaneously captures up to 8 over-the-air broadcasts in ISDB-TB, transcodes them to H.264 or optionally H.265 and delivers them to an IP network generating up to: 32 SD streams, 8 1080i/p streams, or 12 720p60 streams.
The resulting multi-protocol streams can be viewed with: standard receivers compatible with the transport stream, smartphones, video streams, and client applications such as VLC or JW Player. The Linux-based system supports servers for content protection such as the Verimatrix VCAS and performs AES-128 encryption.
Support for VBR encoding maximizes adaptive quality in the video stream, as well as efficiency in bandwidth usage. The simple web interface allows the user to fully configure each stream and is manageable from anywhere. The integrated Atlas server option supports more than a thousand simultaneous HLS, DASH and/or RTMP users.
