Mexico. At Expo Film, Video and Television, the company Hitachi will present its HDTV and 4K cameras, to which it has been added the technology of high dynamic range, known as HDR for its acronym in English.
Attendees at the fair will be able to see demonstrations with the Hitachi cameras to which this technology has been added and which include the Z, SK and DK series, by the hand of the company's distribution partners in Mexico, Escape Audio Video and Comtelsat.
"We are excited to offer the high dynamic range capability in our UHD and HDTV cameras, because we are confident that viewers will be able to appreciate the increased contrast, color and richer dynamic lighting of video," said Sean Moran, vice president of sales for Hitachi Broadcast and professional products.
Escape Audio Video and Comtelsat will use these Hitachi cameras as acquisition systems in a larger video/IT workflow for demonstration, spanning products from companies such as Avid, SAM (Snell Advanced Media), Riddell, Primestream and EditShare.
During the four days of the exhibition, Hitachi's sales manager for Latin America, Tyke Manalang, will be serving customers and supporting the demos of Hitachi cameras with HDR.
As part of a special limited-time promotion, any new Purchase of Hitachi cameras made before September 30, 2016, will include the HDR feature at no additional cost.
According to Israel Gomez, marketing director of Comtelsat, "The Mexican media market is one that demands quality at affordable prices. With its current HDR promotion, Hitachi's cameras will be especially hard to beat."
