NAB. "Frankly happy," said José María Noriega, sales director of the Mexican lighting manufacturer Fluotec, commenting on the results in the sales of the last year and the participation in NAB 2016.
This year, in addition to having a much larger stand at the fair, another of the company's novelties was the use of Fluotec equipment to provide the lighting of the recording studio from which NAB makes its special live broadcast, with interviews with the protagonists of the industry. In total there were six luminaires and four fresnels.
In terms of technology, Fluotec launched the Cinelight, a luminaire for soft light production, very powerful for use in the studio. It comes in two versions, one of 120 centimeters and another of 60. It is the first luminaire of 120 centimeters on the market and has a software that allows you to change from tungsten to LED without having a change in color.
"Fluotec has set out to be the largest lighting company in the world and with that vision there is a lot of work ahead of us. Today we are present throughout Latin America, the United States, Europe, and we are going on the Middle East and Africa market, all under the Fluotec brand, "said José María Noriega.
In the specific case of Latin America, it has just completed important projects with the implementation of Fluotec technology in channels in Mexico, Peru and Colombia.
