Colombia. The company Datavideo is in the process of strengthening its presence in the region. His first step was the arrival of Ralph Messana, who is in charge of the development of the sales channel in the countries of Latin America. The second step on that path was the appointment for Colombia of AVTech Ltda as a new distributor for Colombia.
José Rojano, manager of AVTech Ltda, told TVyVideo+Radio that "We know that in Colombia the market has an already defined segment and we know it well. There is a segment that is neglected because we do not have the specific solutions and that is why we assume the representation of Datavideo, which allows us to offer a reliable and economical product to continue feeding that dependence on customer – supplier, so that there is a healthy dependence, which is what we always look for".
The technical support to Datavideo's customers will be of immediate attention by AVTech Ltda and its engineering department, although José Rojano pointed out that Datavideo has very low rates of claims for product defects. "The duty of secure support will be more like tips for putting together the workflow and supporting customers. Solving problems and repairs won't be as hard," said Ralph Messana.
In addition, he added that the strategy to open market in each country will be different. With Brazil, for example, the devaluation of the real may play in its favor, because prices are lower than some brands in the market that offer similar solutions, but recognizes that in the region there is a lot of growth potential in areas such as Mexico and Central America, to give just two examples.
