Colombia. TSL Products is currently doing very strong work in Latin America looking to reach all countries where markets are growing with the transition from analog TV to Digital HD. Many channels are finishing this process and the next step is to get users used to this new technology.
Sergio Bourguignon, sales director for Latin America of TSL, indicated that this is a very important moment the company and with its products can participate in any project, taking into account that it has the entire line of products for a television channel focused on transmission doing, control and automation, loudness and sound, items on today's agenda.
As current projects, he commented that TSL has a large presence in Mexico in large companies with the implementation of HD. He stressed that there is something that the channels are not doing now and that is to work with 5.1 sound, "this completes the high definition experience for the public, because you need not only the video quality, it also applies to the audio. That is why we have a large presence in companies in Brazil, Argentina and Colombia, developing these sound themes and additionally in the part of monitoring, loudness and audio 5.1 as specific processes to be developed".
As an expectation in the industry, Sergio Bourguignon indicated that there is the technological implementation towards the IP platform, which is currently very strong in both Mexico and Brazil, developing important projects and today they are in constant growth.
