Latin America. Avid successfully conducted a four-day technical training for its representatives in the region. The training took place from May 12 to 15, and included the entire Avid product line (including the MediaCentral platform), customer support talks and market development programs.
"The training was a success. We are very honored to have had the participation of our representatives in the region, who attended to learn about the products that make up the Avid Everywhere vision. They are a fundamental piece to implement this vision, correctly represent our products and also to ensure the best service in the region. Our business is generated and conducted through our representatives. For that reason, we invest a lot of resources in developing in this type of initiative," said Ariel Sardinas, Sales Director for Latin America at Avid.
During the training, Avid offered technical presentations and product demonstrations facilitated by its own engineers and designers. Extracurricular activities designed to improve relationships and foster camaraderie between Avid representatives and team were also organized.
The Avid Latin America team is in the planning phase of the ACSR (Avid Certified Service Representative) program for customers and representatives who provide technical assistance for their products in the region, whose tentative date would be August 2015.
