NAB. The version of NAB that has just ended served as a stage for the Mexican company Fluotec to become even more known and expand its market in the United States, a country in which they hope to have distributors in different regions.
Engineer José María Noriega, commercial director of the company, explained to TVyVideo that "we did wonderfully with the objective of April market in the United States. We started in New York in May and the Pacific area is already being served by some of our representatives. We plan to have six or seven geographic areas served."
At the fair, Fluotec was exhibiting two freneles with technology that homogenizes light and, in the words of its manager, are probably the only fresneles with the necessary quality to appear on television.
José María Noriega commented that "these fresneles respond to the intention of the company that seeks to promote the replacement in Latin America of tungsten incandescent luminaires to give greater sustainability to the region, because the region does not have a sustainable economy and that means that we are destroying our natural resources."
On Latin America, he indicated that the presence in the region of the company has grown enormously, especially in markets such as Central America and Bolivia, because the region has realized that they need to make the technological change to LED, which in addition to providing quality allows savings. And at NAB were gathered the distributors of the region doing good business.
Finally, he pointed out that "At NAB Lowel won an award for best product with the Lowel Prime, recognition made by a specialized publication in the United States. This product is made by us, that's why we feel like winners too."
