New SuperBox module for Echolab production switch
The SuperBox module allows users of Overture production switches to put up to six windows on the screen at the same time. This solution to connect and use simplifies the production of news and sports, allowing the simultaneous visualization of commentators, reporters or guests to the program from different places. The module's dashboard and firmware are designed for Overture standard definition (SD) systems, and their functionality can be accessed via the SuperSource cross-point key. This is a user-configurable system that can have up to six sources using multiple internal manipulators. The Smart Mask feature offers flexibility to move or scale each box with the mask or move and scale the video while holding the mask.
The operator easily switches from the multiple boxes to the full-screen image of the main presenter or a guest. The Overture Switch's two main digital effects channels (DVE) remain available for quick transitions or more boxes.
