Gepco International has launched the VS57000, a five-definition (HD) video snake RG7 type channels. Designed to provide the transmission of multiple channels over long distances of high uncompressed video Definition (HD), the VS57000 is ideal for mobile uses and units of production.
Each coaxial element in the VS57000 is built of the coaxial VHD7000, caliber 16 of Gepco, which offers a polyethylene foam dielectric injected by gas and broadband up to 4.5 GHz. To reject the noise, the cable is shielded with a tinned copper braid and an aluminum sheet protector. Additionally, to ensure its operation and flexibility under various conditions, the VS57000 is covered with a robust TPE compound.
As the mobile productions continue to expand and develop, media require more than long connections of high definition video, which can be made in a variety of conditions says Scott Fehl, in charge of the Gepco product development. Combined with its robust Construction, the VS57000 provides lower attenuation than RG59 type snakes, making it a great choice for these mobile uses.
Gepco, based in Illinois and branch in Burbank, California, just opened a new office of sales, with all available stock, in Chestnut Ridge, New York, near Maniatan.
