Apple released Final Cut Express HD 3.5, a significant upgrade to its award-winning software for video enthusiasts, schools and small businesses that work natively on Macs based on both Intel processors such as PowerPC. What's new in the Final Cut Express HD 3.5 are:

Final Cut Express HD 3.5 provides a full range of editing tools for DV and HDV video formats, with support for multiple layers video, special effects and real-time transitions as well as powerful color correction filters to achieve results with professional appearance. The new Dynamic RT allows users to view even multiple layers of HDV video in real time, which drastically speeds up the editing process by eliminating the need to render clips multiple times video. In addition, all the effects, transitions and parameters of movement can now be marked by numerical control and by calve frame, allowing complete creative control over special effects, which can be saved as favorites for use in other projects.
To complement, Final Cut Express HD 3.5 includes a new version of Soundtrack with more of 4,000 royalty-free musical loops and effects of professional quality sound that can be mixed to create quickly a soundtrack perfectly synchronized with each project. Among the new features incorporated in Soundtrack 1.5 included: multitrack audio editing perfected and recording tools with tracks, busses, real-time outputs and effect processing, as well as in a professional recording studio. The perfected recording capabilities allow you to record, hear and edit dialogues or other recorded content, with expert precision.
Final Cut Express HD 3.5 includes also a new version of LiveType that allows users add high-impact details to movies by dynamically animated text medium and hundreds of backgrounds and royalty-free animated textures; all customizable by the user to adapt to the concept of each project. The New features introduced by LiveType 2.1 include a wide variety of graphics, incorporating 70 new objects animated, 15 new textures and 60 new customizable effects for animation of text and titles. Thanks to new technology based on LiveFont vectors, animated texts such as Tremor, Script, Ribbon, Cool and Blueprint can be scaled to any resolution, including HD, with amazing performance of rendering, especially in the new generation of Macs based on Intel.
