The Associated Press, developer and manufacturer of ENPS, will emphasize the five reasons why the continued evolution of ENPS allows broadcasters to improve their programming and stay in touch with the latest industry developments.
Flexibility. The greater flexibility that journalists have in carrying out their work has been vital to the success of ENPS. As a continuation of this trend, there is a new detachable window that, for example, allows a user to run a non-linear editor in a separate window of an ENPS.
Versatility. A critical component of the ENPS workflow starts with assignments and planning. Mapping editors now have greater power to collect information with the ability to pull and drop Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF documents into a single, multi-layered document.
Mobility. SNAPfeed 3.0's improved user interface guides journalists through the process
— simple and non-technical —, four-step to encode and stream your video.Expandability. More than 60 products from more than 50 companies are integrated with the ENPS through the MOS protocol. ENPS' ability to connect journalists with a variety of resources and systems is transforming the traditional news production process.
Extensibility. As broadcasters feed more and more content on several of their output channels, they need more immediate access to production material as well as stored material. Two new briefing features contribute to this, feeding data or retrieving it from long-term content storage systems and databases.
