The Motion Picture Association of America, MPAA, and its international counterpart the Motion Picture Association, MPA, is the voice of the film, home video, and television industry.
Currently these associations represent not only the cinema but have become leaders that defend the largest producers and distributors of television, cable, home video and future content delivery systems.
Founded in 1922, the MPAA has expanded its coverage over the years to reflect the diversity of an increasingly expanding industry.
