Almost at the same time as its launch in 2007, the UPJunior™ ultracompact VariO™ loudspeaker gained fame thanks to its power, flexibility and efficiency. The UPJunior has experienced large sales in Europe and the United States.
The self-regulating UPJunior offers versatile performance in a variety of theatre and audiovisual sound applications. The compact cabinet (48.2 cm high and less than 23 cm wide), offers a robust sound of 126 dB SPL one meter away, making it ideal for the unique use of loudspeakers without the need for other accompaniment, but can also be used in horizontal and vertical multi-cabinet arrangements in concerts.
The low power comes from its 20 cm neodomium magnet, while the high frequencies come out of a 5 cm compression diagram . The VariO cornet offers 80-degree by 50-degree coverage that can be rotated to offer greater coverage either horizontally or vertically.
From now on the company is offering the new MX300: stereo reverb processor. This new product, with two input and output units that combines an intuitive input panel with plug-in technology, includes a USB connection and VST/AU interface to be used with the software according to the different platforms.
It also includes a wide range of reverb algorithms, with delays, effects and dynamics unique to dbx® products. The MX300 is an ideal package also used in home or live studios. In any of those applications the MX300 offers versatility and unique sonic signal.
It offers in particular, for live applications, FOH/live sound with an intuitive control panel and LCD screen that turns on, to know the sound parameters and connectivity through XLR and TRS.
dbx® Professional Products, a salt lake City-based manufacturer of signal processing products, is introducing its new DriveRack® 4800 processing system as part of a new generation of processors that offer incredible versatility, sonic excellence and intuitive control for performance in live presentations.
Introducing all standard processing functions and a new set of algorithms (including DSP inserts in the outputs and inputs, EQ, Delay, bandpass limit and crossover filters). The DriveRack® 4800 offers Front of House (FOH) engineering, monitoring and all the processing tools for any situation that needs reinforcement in a live presentation.
The 96 kHz processing engine extends the frequency of responses and reduces latency. In addition to versatility, the DriveRack® 4800 is designed for efficient use, with a color display to speed up manual operation and two-button navigation for all processing functions.
Like the CDi 1000 and CDi 2000, the CDi 4000 is equipped with many more differentiating elements, including its versatility to withstand low impedance or two, four and eight ohm loads as well as 70 and 140 volt outputs.
It also includes an LCD front panel that allows installers to quickly go through the process of customizing system parameters for amplifier processing on dashboards, (including crossovers, EQ, limited compression and delay), while saving 20 predefined DSPs that ensure they can be reused at the touch of a button. The back panel offers USB connectors that allow the amplifier to be configured via PC, through Harman Pro's HiQnet™ System Architect™ software.
