Philips
52-inch 3D display for more reality
This three-dimensional system solution covers 3D displays, 3D content creation, and conversion tools and technology licensing. The expansion of this product line responds to developments in the digital signage market aimed at greater diversity in screen sizes. The manufacturer offers the professional AV and digital signage market a greater degree of immersion and a more vibrant viewing experience. The 52-inch three-dimensional autostereoscopic display is based on a panel with a 1920x1080 liquid crystal display, offering 700 cd/m2 brightness, 2000:1 contrast and an 8 ms response time. WOWvx technology uses the 2D-plus-Depth format, which includes Declipse, with additional occlusion information for a real appearance of 3D vision. The screen will begin to be offered in the 4th quarter of this year.
