Instead of relying solely on your EVO systems, the new Transcoding Accelerator can distribute transcoding tasks to your EVO servers and macOS workstations on your network running Adobe Media Encoder. This approach ensures that the workload is efficiently distributed across your existing network resources, resulting in significant time savings on large transcoding jobs. What used to take days can now take hours, and what used to take hours can now take minutes. This release also introduces new codec support for EVO users, allowing proxy generation for Sony, Canon, and all other video codecs currently supported by Media Encoder.
