Latin America. ARRI expands its range of SkyPanel LED soft lights with the new S120-C, the largest member of the SkyPanel family. ARRI's acclaimed SkyPanel series of LED soft lights is growing, with the addition of the new SkyPanel S120-C to the S60 and S30 product family.
The S120 is twice as long as the S60 but weighs pretty much the same. Its greater light aperture further enhances the large soft light. With the same features and color tunability as its smaller peers, the S120 consumes less than 400 watts. It is, however, slightly brighter than the S60-C and has an exceptional efficiency of 90 lumens per watt.
A large surface is an essential feature of any good soft light. With an aperture of 1290 mm x 300 mm (50.8" x 11.8"), the S120 produces a beautifully smooth and uniform beam of light with a variety of uses. The long aspect ratio wraps light around objects and is perfect for vertical lighting of people. Also, the S120 works well as a ceiling light in large areas and due to its larger proportions fewer lights and fewer cables are needed.
Next to the S120 are launched all the necessary accessories to sculpt and control the light. Among the accessories of the S120 are honeycomb grilles, egg boxes, visors, diffusion panels, the SkyBender and a new fabric visor called FlexDoor. This wide range of accessories make the S120 more versatile and easy to control.
