The National Television Authority, ANTV, presented the regulatory project for the modification of the Subscription Television Regime, which aims to compile, unify and issue a new regulatory framework applicable to the subscription television service taking into account the realities and dynamics of the sector.

This proposal takes into account the results of the Public Policy Tables on Television and Audiovisual Content that the Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies advanced in 2016, in order to generate spaces for discussion and participation in order to build a new public policy.

These discussions allowed to identify aspects that could be adjusted or modified from the regulatory powers of the ANTV, in order to formulate a regulation that allows a more efficient provision of the service in the new technological and market environment.
