According to the information presented in the report **, mobile television has grown rapidly,** with 37% of respondents stating that they watch television outside their homes on devices such as smartphones, tablets, PCs or laptops.

Latin America is no stranger to this reality; **Mexico, with 19%, leads the list of countries in the region** that grow in this area, while Argentina had in 2011 with 7% of consumers consuming programs under this modality.

At the international level, the figures of the United States stand out, where the consumption of mobile TV on smartphones **increased five times compared to 2010 to reach 23%** of users, while in Japan the figure reached 46%.

In addition, 27% of consumers worldwide aged between 25 and 34 watch TV on a mobile device once to twice a week, the same goes for 34% of consumers between 45 and 54 years old and 33% of those surveyed with more than 55 years.

This led the researchers to confirm that current users demand connectivity and availability anytime, anywhere, thus dramatically altering the TV consumption experience.
